thank you hello and welcome to the Down East Players Cup presented by gatekeeper media this is a PDGA a tier we are here at the ECU course in Greenville North Carolina I'm Holly Finley and I'm Whitney Graham Whitney why don't you tell us a little bit about this ECU course all right so ECU is going to give you a different feel than Meadowbrook um the meadow tends to be more wooded and it's more about placement shots out here it's going to be a little bit more open you're going to have to make sure that you understand that your disc is going to skip because the grass tends to be very manicured and there are you know these are longer shots and honestly shooting even out here is going to be a great score um up first we have Holly Finley and then we also have Diane Carey who will be is sitting even on the round next up we'll have Megan goldsby she is also sitting even on the round and pulling up the back end of the card is Elaine King who is at plus three so Megan's gonna be our new face this around and we're really excited because she is native to North Carolina Raleigh area here we are hole one a par 3 345 feet the path you see on the left is out of bounds indicated by the white line and flags so the play here if you're a right-handed player is to just swing it out to the right let the disc do a nice hyzer flare skip into the basket and hopefully get yourself a putt for a two like this plays a little longer than 345 though I was not getting an endless Circle putt yes and there was a raging left to right on this on this hole we decided to do our own announcements so nice yeah I don't know oh and you made it through though I don't know what went on there somehow kicked my leg no I know it was just not what you're looking for but it happens and that's what I was talking about with this manicured grass and and some of that it just causes a good skip yeah it was fast I like the way that's flattening out and then coming back left oh and just barely Clips...
