hello and welcome back to the 2021 magic city mega ball presented by dynamic disc this is the round two lead card and we're going to be kicking it off at the john le master memorial disc golf course in trussville alabama my name is james hopkins and this is jared neal here's our lead card michael johansson logan bowers harper thompson tied at eighth down and benjamin page all right so here we have hole one this is the start off hold 400 feet um beyond the basket it kind of slopes down there's a creek back there however the sidewalk right in front actually acts as a creek so you don't want to land in the sidewalk anywhere else besides that in the actual water and you should be safe as you can tell we are in the rain today yeah today is going to be a raining round the entire round was pretty soaking wet and stay on the sidewalk mj just squeaking by in the inbounds right there logan bowers on the tee so logan's a predominantly sidearm player in my book and it it's always interesting for me to see him throw back hands it looks like he landed on the safe side of the sidewalk that puddle however is is casual one actually harper's pretty prepared for rain today got the rain jacket the umbrella harper's gonna be one to watch he's a young gun out of nashville and uh as you can tell from that that throne he's got a little bit of power that was pretty much straight up 400 foot spot kaiser look at benjamin page out of huntsville another more direct route so this is a typical play i would see out of ben he's not the furthest thrower but he's pretty smooth and pretty consistent on his shot so ben knowing that uh going for the pin is probably not the best thing for him to do in the ring right off this tee it's actually laid up a little short should be really easy for him to have a routine layup putt or maybe even give it a far run looks like logan's just giving it a little layup it's actually a really good run from ben there he was lucky he was throwing a nova those things stick when they hit the ground oh there goes the...
