ARP | 2020 Music City Open | R1 / B9 | C. Clemons : E. Keith : G. Gurthie : B. Earhart |
The 2020 Music City Open is underway at Dynamic Discs' sponsored event, featuring a thrilling first round of competition. Ace Run Pro's coverage brings you all the action and analysis from Chris Clemons, Eric Keith, Garrett Gurthie, and Brian Earhart as they battle it out on the challenging Cedar Hill course. Specifically, the team will focus on Hole 10, known for its unique layout and demanding requirements. The hole demands a precise drive, followed by a careful approach shot that must navigate through tight spaces and avoid obstacles like the stone foundation of a house. As the players take on this iconic hole, they'll need to rely on their skills in throwing a hyzer roll or s-turn style shots with just enough glide to carry over the obstacles. The 532-foot challenge requires precision, patience, and expert technique, making it an exciting test for these top-level disc golfers.
Catch top players C. Clemons, E. Keith, G. Gurthie & B. Earhart at the 2020 Music City Open, round 1, hole 9!

what's up ladies and gentlemen welcome back to the 2020 music city open sponsored by dynamic discs this is ace run pro's day one feature card coverage i'm will mccaskill i'm marcus rudders we're back heated race already underway the game is afoot thank you to infinite discs for making this coverage possible and thanks as always to the continued generous support of dynamic discs of music city disc golf in the music city open right now around the turn we've got chris clemons in the lead at five down erhart right behind him at four under par uh garrett at three under and emerson sitting two down and we're on hull ten tell us about holt and marcus this hole definitely defines what cedar hill is all about uh keeping it low throwing a good drive it takes a s turn style shot maybe a hyzer roll up you just want to keep it tight on the left hand side for the righties and let the disc glide you need a lot of glide on your disc 532 feet it's going to an elevated basket it does play downhill but we have that that stone foundation of that house right in the pinch point yeah the pinch point right there is right now where it just has just flown over looks like he got through but he will have a little bit of a opportunity to scramble to get his next shot out of the woods here earhart lining up looks like a little turnover hopefully and he does oh that hurts my soul it hurts my soul too my friend i'm sorry for that oh man that was a great shot i feel like there's equal chance for a lefty or a righty to have great success or catch a tree right down there around the house and this is very exciting because this is definitely one of the players you want to see on the whole of this style 532 feet oh goodness through the house it looks like the cameraman had to jump out of the way he had to get out of the way light on his feet now this is yet another example of appearance as being deceiving from the t-pad because it looked like garrett was flirting dangerously with that left side but his hyzer was right on point to get up close...
