Score Your Round, Share the Action

Disc golfers already have some great options for keeping score. What we wanted was something a little different: scoring that’s built right into the DiscGolf.Buzz community.

Today, we’re excited to launch our new digital scorecard and live scoring system — giving you an easy way to track rounds, keep a history of your scores, and share your round with other disc golfers when you want to.

Whether it’s a casual round with friends, league night, or a tournament-style event, scoring is now part of the DiscGolf.Buzz experience.

Keep Your Rounds in One Place

Logged-in DiscGolf.Buzz members — including free accounts — can start a round directly from their dashboard.

Choose your course, layout, and players, and you’re ready to go.

You can enter scores in whichever way works best for your round. Keep things updated as you play by tapping in each hole’s stroke count, or wait until you’re finished and enter the entire round at once.

As scores go in, your total and score relative to par update live, making it easy to see where everyone stands.

We’ve also added color coding so you can scan a scorecard quickly:

  • 🟣 Purple: Albatross
  • 🔵 Blue: Eagle
  • 🟢 Green: Birdie
  • ⚪ Gray: Par
  • 🟠 Amber: Bogey
  • 🔴 Red: Double-bogey or worse

And because every round you play is part of your disc golf story, you can look back through your full round history over time.

Put Your Round on the Live Board

The really fun part is what happens when you choose to share.

Head over to discgolf.buzz/live and you’ll find a public leaderboard showing rounds that players have opted to make public.

No account is required to watch.

Open a live round and you can see the full hole-by-hole scorecard for every player, with scores automatically updating every few seconds while the round is underway.

That makes it useful for all kinds of situations — following a league group while you’re waiting to play, keeping friends updated during an event, or letting people back home follow along with a tournament-style round.

And don't worry about accidentally broadcasting your Saturday morning round to the world: rounds are private by default. You decide, on a round-by-round basis, whether to make one public.

This Is Just the Beginning

We know plenty of disc golfers already have a favorite scoring app, and that's okay. Our goal isn't to make you choose between the tools you already love and DiscGolf.Buzz.

We're building toward a more connected DiscGolf.Buzz experience where courses, rounds, players, events, videos, podcasts, and the community all live together.

We're also keeping an eye toward future integrations with other scoring platforms, including UDisc, as their API availability and terms allow. If and when we're able to integrate with UDisc, we'd love to make that part of the experience too.

For now, the new DiscGolf.Buzz scorecard is ready to go.

Start a round, invite your group, and give it a shot. Then, if you want, flip the switch and let everyone else watch the action.

See you on the course — and on the leaderboard! 🥏
