Profile System Update — Now Live on discgolf.buzz

We’ve rolled out a major update to user accounts and profiles today, focusing on making your disc golf community experience smoother and more connected.

✅ Working Today

You can now:

• Register an account at /register
• Log in at /login
• Sign out directly from the header dropdown
• View your profile at /profile including name, email, bio, and username
• Edit your name, bio, and username inline right on your profile page
• Access a Favorites tab (ready for future saves)
• View a Submissions tab showing any courses you’ve submitted
• See a Volunteering tab for courses you’ve signed up to help with
• Jump directly to chat.discgolf.buzz from your profile
• See your first name in the header with a dropdown menu when logged in

🧩 Profile Page Layout

Your profile now includes:

• Large initial-based avatar (temporary, no uploads yet)
• Display name with inline edit option
• Username shown as @username (if set)
• Email address
• Bio section (if provided)
• Quick links to Community Chat + Sign Out
• Three main tabs:

  • Submissions
  • Volunteering

Each tab includes a helpful empty state so you always know what to do next.
