Introducing the Disc Golf Disc Directory — 2,300+ Discs, Free Public API

The Buzz just launched something we've been excited about for a while — a complete disc golf disc directory featuring over 2,300 PDGA approved discs, and we're making all of it available through a free public API.

What's in the directory?

Every disc includes the flight numbers you care about — speed, glide, turn, and fade — along with the full PDGA certified physical specifications including diameter, rim depth, rim thickness, flexibility, and max weight. We cover discs from 257 manufacturers, from the biggest names in the sport to boutique manufacturers you may not have heard of yet.

You can browse by manufacturer, filter by disc type — distance drivers, fairway drivers, midranges, and putters — or search by name. Each disc has its own page with a visual flight number breakdown so you can quickly compare how discs fly.

Free Public API — No Key Required

The real news is the API. Every disc in our directory is accessible programmatically with no API key, no rate limits on reasonable use, and no sign-up required. This is part of our commitment to keeping disc golf data open and accessible to the community.

A few example queries:

• All Innova discs: /api/discs?where[manufacturer][equals]=Innova
• All putters: /api/discs?where[type][equals]=putter
• High speed drivers: /api/discs?where[flight.speed][greater_than]=12
• Specific disc: /api/discs?where[slug][equals]=innova-destroyer

The API returns paginated JSON with full disc data including flight numbers and specs. Build your own disc recommendation tool, bag builder, or flight visualizer — the data is yours to use.

What's Next
