welcome back to Bonanza disc golf today it's gonna be a little long day for me but we're starting it out with one of my most excited reviews that I've done in a while today we're going to be taking a look at AGL or above ground level discs they're actually sponsoring this video so we're going to talk more about them and the discount codes that you can get if you want to look at their product but they sent me out these four discs so we're gonna play the front nine here at Gator links disc golf course just outside of Pensacola Florida and they sent me one mid and one approach disc a Putter and a fairway driver so we should be able to play these nine holes pretty well and having felt these discs already like for instance this is the Locust I'll share what more of these are later they feel so good and the plastic just looks incredible so let's get on to Hole number one which is 192 feet if I can't beat par with these discs I'm going to give this whole set away I really hope I can beat par because these just feel really good hey editor Anthony here popping in just for one second because sometimes you should actually look at how hard a course plays this is a look at one of the recent tournaments at this course and even part is just about 989.90 rated one under is basically a thousand rated 990 rated not saying that's an excuse or something that should make you think I'm doing really good with this plastic but just a good thing for you to know now one of the reasons I'm excited to work with AGL is because they use recycled plastic Blends for everything because they want to lower their carbon footprint and there are a couple other really cool ways that they do that as well that will get into all the discs are named by the community to start off it's not going to be the locus because it's only 192 feet basically straight down there we could play a forehand which looks enticing or a backhand turnover and we're going to start out with the madrone which is a beaded slightly beaded putter three three zero one so it should be relatively stable feels slightly deep and there's a pretty nice thumb track here so let's go madroni boy that thing is so stable maybe it's because of the thumb track a lot of times that like eliminates some of the Glide but I thought that was going to be a little bit straighter honestly with the 3301 kind of feels like a three two zero two off the bat inside the circle putt to get us started birdieville I don't think we're gonna shoot perfect but that'd be pretty solid so one of the pretty sweet things about AGL is even though they're like a quote-unquote smaller disc manufacturer they have like base Blends premium Blends glow discs as well Factory seconds basically everything you'd expect from a manufacturer they have like bags and other accessories so if you're looking for another really solid environmentally conscious disc golf company totally just left I mean the Plastics themselves look incredible and they are made in conjunction with Gateway so they've been in the industry for 30 plus years they feel and look very good so hold two here looks like it's 300 feet straight down the Gap and then fly to the left but it's kind of like a pretty severe dog leg to the left there so I think we're gonna go mid we could go Fairway driver but I want to test out the six Glide five six zero two on the Magnolia I've heard this is a really really good mid feels like it's going to be slightly stable because it does have a little bead down here and it's pretty bored flat which some people will definitely like I think I'm normally one of those people man that is quite drastic what went straight on the line and like it was going downhill so that does tend to make things slightly more understable but it didn't really want to fight back very much which is good for a straight mid-range it seems a little bit less stable than I thought it was going to be all right that does put us in a pretty bad position here because the basket is there we need a skipper through here I kind of want to try the mid again and just see if it'll just holds whatever line because I did put it on the anhyzer actually I think I'm going to try this shot that's more for this this just scares me a little bit because I'm really throwing it it's The Baobab four zero one three I've never seen a zero Glide disc but it looks sweet I imagine I'm gonna have to throw it pretty hard and try to throw it straight through this Gap and it'll just do the Turning for me foreign oh my god let's get oh that hit it's really hard to get that upward skip unless you have like a tilt or something but that disc might be pretty close that is like a brick what the heck I love collecting and having like these kind of little weirdo discs I was about to pick this up and Putt with it that would have been really bad rest that a little there we go do your actual routine Anthony and maybe you'll make some putts all right even going into three what I've learned The more I've thrown from a ton of Manufacturers the more this just kind of are pretty similar like there are some that might stand out to some people just based on feel and maybe flight but a lot of it just comes down to how they feel in the hand because so many flights are so good nowadays that if you can't buy from someone where it's like either recycle or eco-conscious that's a good thing to do all right that brings us here into hole number three which is a 597 foot straight Gap slight turn to the right basket all the way down there I'm thinking we're gonna try the locus which is their Fairway driver 9 4 negative one three the numbers do say that I should be able to give it a slight hyzer it should pop up and maybe turn if I throw it hard enough so we're gonna see if we can maybe get about 380 400 down the Gap that's a big ass but it is slightly downhill and one of the really cool things about AGL as well is they want to be the greenest disc golf company out there and so with every order they actually send you little seeds that correlate to every single disc that you buy but more importantly they actually plant trees with every disc sold so when I got my order I went online and they said hey there are these trees they're going to be planted in your name I just go onto this website and I was able to plant some trees which is super cool for a disc golf company because we want to offset our carbon footprint and make sure that this game is around for a while let's hope I can actually smack this Gap my I'll end the sun totally left us when I was throwing that all right so just a really poor shot with this Locust I just I don't know what's going on with my timing I have been like training a lot harder recently compared to how I used to do all my review videos because my review videos were my training and so I think that might be affecting me a little bit because a little more sore so I might need to focus a little while warm enough let's try to just make that same shot that same hyzer flip actually throw a solid hyzer flip and see if we can get a full flight out of that on these desks okay that's better that is so hard to see oh nice straight skipping let's go that is down there I'm gonna arrange that I kept that so low when I'm tired my hyzers tend to just be thrown at the ground but it did flip up it didn't really turn that much which is a solid disc to have I like those discs that flip up but don't turn they're a little more predictable and they give you a little bit more grace they're not going to turn and burn on you but that's down there for me be a long jump putt but probably just pitch up take apart be happy yep 360. pretty solid because that did not get off the ground at all thinking we're gonna try The Baobab again I really want to like this disc because it's so cool just funky like the rim profile itself kind of has this like double thing here and then it slopes down at the very bottom like a lot of like four speed approach discs foreign that will do I'm glad to take a part of there after that terrible terrible Drive let's get on the hole number four and hopefully get back under par because even par means I'm giving all these discs away all right hold four here 310 feet it looks like up and then to the right and there is water behind so don't want to Sky it too bad I might want to try a turnover but it looks like it just starts to turn way too late so I think we're gonna go Locust on that forehand and see how it holds the torque from her forehand because you just really you don't want to be off the Fairway here I'm honestly just playing this one for par this is not a whole that I feel confident with with this that I haven't thrown a lot oh my I did a coaching session with overthrow on my forehand form that's already on the channel probably that's one of the reasons I'm sourced because I was practicing a lot yesterday but wow what that was so much better than I expected just because I'm really focusing on the four things that we're talking about thank you go subscribe to them too and subscribe here obviously and like the video and uh Link in the description for AGL discs and there is a discount code down there too it might have a pot I don't need to be parked I just might actually have a pot I'm a drone it's your time to shine buddy go to the basket make me look good I also totally just noticed when I was talking to the madrone that the little Dash and the a is a disc that's pretty sick I really thought I did it I think the madrone is slightly less glottie than my peers are which I think has to do with the thumb track and is what we were talking about on hole one and some people really like a less gliddy putter personally I like a little bit more glottie of a putter but I'm just gonna have to compensate slightly for this and pretend I'm five feet further back then I'll start making all my putts on the whole five whatever hole we're going to do all right hole five looks like three twelve par three so the light headwind I was gonna throw the mid I think I'm still gonna throw it I'm gonna try to figure out the highs or angles on it straight up there and then in that little Gap through there if you want to pick up anything from AGL if you go down in the link in the description and use Bonanza 10 you'll get 10 off anything that you get at checkout and it'd really mean a lot to me to support the sponsors that support me especially if you like what you see because they are a good company I don't want to work with anybody who I don't believe in what they're doing and supporting the sponsors that I work with helps me to land more sponsorships work in longer Partnerships with the sponsors that I do have now all helps me to get on tour and then eventually stay on tour so I appreciate you but Dan's attendant checkout we haven't gone along super well yet but I know we can do it hyzer flip up drop back in on that hyzer here's some chains you know why not let's get nice okay I put that one on some hyzer especially for being max weight so that's a little bit more understable than I was expecting but that makes it a really solid mid-range for beginners or people who are just getting started because it will fly closer to that five six zero two for someone who's throwing it at a lower speed and I do think it does have that six Glide that thing just wants to stay in the air but this is not going to make this upshot easy oh here we are that is that is wondrous straight up and down I'm thinking it's going to be Baobab sit down wow that thing is straight up and down I threw that on like a tomahawk angle and it just kind of went up and came right back down that's a really good utility shot there I might use that let's go that's a good part we're staying even don't want to get over par just over halfway done we just need one birdie all right hole six is a 459 foot Par Four straight down that Gap so I'm kind of between two mines of if I want to get a little aggressive with the locus but I don't really think I can push that past 383.90 or just take a pretty simple shot with the Magnolia I think that's what I'm gonna do is really redeeming Magnolia because it's a perfect tunnel shot for a hyzer flip with that disc that keeps on turning a little bit one of the really cool things that we've already talked a little about their Plastics before but they also have hemp Plastics which is pretty sweet and they had one recent run because they'll do some really cool recycle based plastic where they use the material that goes around underwater C cables and they called it the Deep plastic so I definitely want to get my hands on some of those and I would definitely be on the lookout on AGL to see what kind of new cool stuff they are doing and one quick update Josh got back with me is that for the seeds that I got if you don't want those seeds you don't have to get them you have to opt into them and they will send it with you but no matter what they will plant trees on your behalf that will be in that email that they send you as well so let's go ahead and redeem the Magnolia here now I'm thinking about that tree on the left though so of course I'm gonna hit the trend no I'm not going to on the left this is going to be good kick left and yeah I was a little nervous of that tree so I honestly kept it way too inside that flight is exactly what I wanted it to do though really nice flip up slight turn and it started to come back which it's kind of a good in between slot it flies like a mind Bender maybe slightly less stable but it flies like a mind Bender one thing too is I really only when I'm doing challenges like this you need what two to four discs but ago does have a whole lineup like I don't have any of their distance drivers because I didn't really need any but they have a whole line of distance drivers more Fairways more mids and more Putters that they're constantly restocking so even if you just want to go click through those to see what might fit your lineup I would definitely do that it's probably madrone foreign just throwing the Magnolia Softly yes absolutely yes alrighty we are coming on in here that kicked so deep in this crap oh no missed the Gap because I had a little tree in my run up alrighty easy putts easy putts bad putts bad butts apparently yeah I for sure should have just thrown the Magnolia because it is all right here oh yeah yeah all right three holes I need two birdies to beat par that's why you sometimes take them out to a field before you go and play around with them but when you don't do that things like this can happen all right this will be interesting 294 Pro number seven up this Gap and then back to the left I think it's probably gonna be the Locust it's definitely the most workable of these discs The Baobab and the madrone are pretty overstable and the Magnolia is like straight to understable so this is the most workable at least at my arm speed right now I think it might only be really good for lower arm speeds some of the really cool things that AGL is doing right now is that they Bank 100 with aspiration Bank who is a green Bank I'm actually going to look into them a little bit more now they're talking to me about them but they also use zero waster cycle so that nothing that is their garbage ends up in a landfill which is super cool and with one tree planted which is their tree planting that you can be a part of they've actually planted over 10 000 trees this year alone so gotta hit this Gap gotta get some birdies no t-pad here though with this weird foreign that is the disc dude slightly short wait that sign says that's two I think this Pro sign down here is lying to me right now yeah it's saying like 3 30. okay great awesome I think I don't know easy 55 foot putt here no pressure at all I told you told you it was an easy 55 foot putt let's go back to even one Birdie on the last two holes I think that should be getable it better be getable because I don't want to have to give these away subscribe this is too close for comfort all right I'm gonna be honest I have no idea what these last couple holes are but this one looks like it could eat your lunch potentially it's 243 feet up there I definitely am going Magnolia because I need to hit this little baby Gap I really want to play from the AMT because that's 190 and real close but if I haven't quite sold you on AGL yet they're actually 100 us-based so it's oh this is tight you're gonna have to throw it softly because it needs to come back but I also need to hit this Gap it's all right I kind of just for fun I want to see how far I can get the bail Bob up there there's now a little warp in it which makes sense when you throw basis plastic it's kind of honestly very similar to jawbreaker plastic and I smacked the first available tree almost as hard as I could got another this one's probably closer to 60th feet we can make this though there's no Clyde all right one last chance to get a birdie I didn't pause at the bottom of my rep that helps me a lot of times build a lot of momentum I didn't really explode off that so one of the reasons why I missed the other reason is because it's freaking 65 feet Part Town one last chance for a birdie otherwise these are all getting given away all right last hole 310 feet up the gut and then to the right so maybe a forehand that comes back at the end at the Locust gotta be honest I'm not really feeling confident with anything I don't hold this long I should have probably picked it everyone or I should have just made some other pots last really cool thing about AGL besides that you should go down and use Kobe Danza 10 is that they actually do custom hot stamping it might be rolling out like a hot stamping program but they also do wholesalers and everything so whatever you need they can probably help you with it hopefully if what I need is a birdie here they can help me with that I gotta get confident I gotta I gotta see the line Come on Anthony oh my gosh Anthony no no oh no no that was so good gosh dude come on all right this is the true pressure putt here literally this tree right here I hit it right here I can see where I hit it and it was gonna skip up maybe not parked but Circle one for sure come on man we can make this question is inside or outside of the tree I think it's got to be the hyzer puck because this thing's pretty not glidy okay let's freaking go let's go let's go freaking go down one oh now do you want to see what actually happened no Oh I thought I made it Oh I thought I made it shoot that's so disappointing man what head over onto my Instagram disc golf and we're going to be doing a giveaway of these discs I think once I figured them out I really like them like everything take him to the field don't take them to a course first figure out how they actually fly and then you'll actually like them a lot I'd say my order of likeness this is definitely the Locust first then kind of between the Magnolia and bail Bop and last is going to be the madrone just because it's not the type of putter I'm used to either throwing or putting with probably fits a lot of your bags but it just doesn't fit mine because it's never something that I really used go ahead down the link in the description use code badan's a 10 to get 10 off anything at AGL can't believe I'm gonna have to do this giveaway you know I gotta make that putt so that I can do that sequence in the video that you already saw I really thought I made that first try foreign oh man that is not as hard as it looks I Oh I thought I made that I really thought I made that
