welcome back to Bonanza disc golf today we have another patreon sponsored disc review but I'm starting at the back of my van because unlike most bagger Bennetts that are patreon sponsored this one is a little special to me because it's my favorite disc ever today we're going to be taking a look at the latitude 64 Grace which in my opinion is the best distance driver ever created even though it's only 11 speed and we're going to get to the reasons why I think this and we're also going to play six holes because in these bagger Bennetts if I can't beat par with just the disc that I'm playing with I actually am going to go ahead and send one of my personal Graces that I've thrown to DJ who is the patron who asked for the bag at her Bennett this is one of the first Graces that I bought about this one and this one at the same time we're here at Municipal Park in Mobile Alabama but first just for reference I have a couple and I just gave one away in mystery box as well you know we'll just bring all these onto the course and I'll explain why I have so many and why you should like this this too I almost titled this video this is the best disc if you can find it but now they kind of got stock ones and they have Kristen Tatar World Championship ones just on Dynamic and latitude sight all the time so if you want to you can actually probably go buy a Grace right now which is not the case for like six months out of this year and the reason that I like it so much is because its numbers are 11 6 negative one two normally you'll have like a wraith or something that's 11 5 negative one two or even the curl from Lone Star this is eleven five negative one two but those are kind of opposite ends of the spectrum because The Wraith is normally more overstable and less glidey than the grace the curl is normally pretty glidy but even less stable than The Graces but apparently this is whole one these flags and then the basket is just to the left of that tree over on the other side so you got a couple options we do have a headwind so you could throw the forehand which I'll throw one disc and we also have a backhand turnover and both of those I really like with the grace because for me honestly it's just like a longer Fairway driver so I got a bunch of different Graces here I actually have a first run that I bought from Emerson Keith when he was doing a fundraiser these are the first two Graces that I was ever able to find I got them in a shop in Grand Junction Colorado the home of Aaron Gossage and when I first threw these I was like these are my gonna be my drivers if I could ever get a hold of anymore so as they had more releases I bought three or four of this Grace I actually traded one of them with someone who had the old Kristen lupus stamped Grace which this is a very very flippy one like this is my roller Grace if I need a roller but even then it's still even a little too Flippy and then I just gave one of these away but this one has been my Workhorse for a while but it's now getting a little too beaten like if I was to take this on a forehand I couldn't really throw it flat I'd have to throw it on some hyzer and I prefer to throw it out there flat let it turn a slight bit and come back and so that's why I bought a bunch of the world championship Graces but these graces are now turning into what this one was for me so I actually bagged one of these now these pink ones because I'm not a big cycling guy he probably might have seen my video last week about that but for some reason these discs just do it for me but I think our first shot just to show you the utility of a 381 foot slightly downhill into a headwind because the beauty of these discs 11 speeds versus 13 speeds are that the lines are going to be much much tighter I'll explain what that means after I throw these days I just nailed a goose I'm gonna show you my throws that I just threw in a second but we're gonna rethrow because those are warm-ups totally I'll still say par at best even if I park this next shot but I'm gonna throw this Grace which is my beaten one that I'm putting on the line it flies very similar to that blue one that I was showing you earlier where if I throw it hard and flat it is going to turn a bit but always come back if I throw an anhyzer I can just burn it over if I want to and then we'll throw this Christmas at our world championship one on the forehand and then I'll show you what I did to the geese I'll still say par at best even if I park this next shot yes oh my gosh I love these discs so much so I think it's about 15 feet as promised here's my first forehand get over that skip off it I just nailed a goose here's my first backhand and what I did with both that first backhand and forehand is first I wasn't warm but second I really tried to like throw my arm out at him but you never want to do one but two especially with The Graces because that six Glide is no joke I genuinely think this is probably the farthest flying 11 speed or sub 12 speed disc because I say 9 to 11 are kind of closer to control drivers than distance drivers skip up oh but the thing that I really meant in terms of the lines being tighter I'll show you on the next hole because when you throw a disc that's faster like 12 or 13 speed if you want to throw it dead straight the faster the driver the more drift the disc is going to have on its line so you can't throw through quite as tight of tunnels just so good on that turnover the first Grace so we took the par let me actually finish the thought real fast though so the reason I love Grace's so much is because that six Glide gives you similar distance to a 12 or 13 speed even as your arm speeds up like if I really get a perfect hold of both of these discs the ride might go 20 or 30 feet farther from me but it takes a lot more power and it's a lot touchier because I have to give it more spin whereas with the grace if I throw these on the same line and they want to go straight the grace is going to turn slightly and come back slightly whereas the Rive to go straight I'm gonna have to put a lot of anhyzer on it it's going to flex out and come back so this same line is going to look like these two totally different things meaning that the grace is much better for tunnel shots which is why you see people like Maddie yo who has tons of power use it in the woods to just carve up Fairways because even though it's an 11 speed it kind of flies more similar to a fairway driver which is why I put 9 10 and 11 in that same category because some people might have a nine speed like an Undertaker for public bath or somebody that they really like in the woods I don't really have a nine speed that I like I have a seven speed that I like so I have this 11 in that control driver space but the basket that we're it looks like it's 440 feet straight ahead of us there is a pond that I don't think is an actual pond in front of it so you want to leave it a little bit right meaning I'm actually going to throw my flippier grace which is this blue one not my flippy flippy one but flippier that I actually still bag I have some Graces that I've thrown so much that they're not even worth it for me to bag anymore because they're too Flippy and I'd rather have an actual flippy disc in that slot even though I haven't found it yet so we're gonna go ahead and just give this a big rip I don't think I can push it 440 right now because I'm not really warm and this is slippery so I don't want to hurt myself oh slip what the heck that's going to be in that pond isn't it get all the way there get all the way there oh let's freaking go that might be shorter than 440. okay yeah it says 372. here is my flippier ride this got beat into the point where I can't put in my bag anymore because it flies to a similar stability as a newer Grace but like I said it's just more touchy all right we're switching rides for no reason at all wasn't because I actually threw it flat that's much better oh so the wind batted that down but I'm pretty sure those are within 10 feet of each other the Rival in the grace but the grace was on such more of a targeted line a cheat code of a fairway driver super glidey and I imagine that the stability of that Grace that I have there might be similar to like the newer Royal Graces that aren't orbit but when I threw just a regular Royal Grace versus an orbit race I was in Colorado so everything flies more stable but they seem to have the same stability so I'm not 100 sure hopefully we can make a putt and get it too I don't know if I could have given a better example than what I did here with the second arrive mind you but the amount of anhyzer and flex that I had to put on it to get that disc here compared to the grace which is literally right here like this is what one two three less than 15 feet away from each other is incredible let's go if you have wraiths and there's too stable for you or you just don't like them because I had The Wraith and I just didn't like it the grace is the answer Grace is always the answer baby be nice to each other something in Latitude they're able to figure out how to have something be relatively stable so you can throw it very far holding whatever lines you want to put it on but also Glide forever so that's why I like the grace let's move on to Hole number three one of the other reasons I really like the grace is because of the forehand stability that it can hold because this is a 330 foot hole you see that big tree cluster just to the left of it you can't make it out because these baskets are weird this is the t-pad apparently there's two flags in the ground I'm gonna go ahead and throw this Grace first the more stable one because if I put it on a flex line and give it get enough height it's not going to be a crazy Flex it's going to stay in this Fairway and not hit those trees to the left and have little enough finish that it's not going to like go crazy far to the right and not leave me with the putt thank you didn't quite turn it enough at all so I didn't do almost anything that I said but it still got down there decent ways for not throwing it very hard I'm going to show you an actual good shot with that Flex with another little Champion Grace freaking shot oh my gosh actually throw a good one that's underneath the basket I mean I was gonna say Get it Grace but then there's less for me to get and I don't make anything if you buy a Grace so you don't buy a Grace you don't need a Grace sorry Jonathan from lot 264 though if you tell me that I need to tell people to get a Grace I'll tell them to get a Grace Park Town still down one three holes to go can't give up any more Strokes that is such a good shot I'm gonna warn you now this is going to be a little bit of a difficult shot to see because we're going 336 feet down this Corridor and then you can probably right where that guy is putting out that's where the basket is 336 feet away oh my gosh that disc is so good don't skip in the road though oh that's the problem with it being a distances driver or a control driver just the big skip that it got at the end very good at hitting the line I need a little more turn to mitigate that skip because I really didn't turn it almost at all that's why you'd rather throw a fairway because it's way less skip or even a mid that's it that's why you don't pop the drivers folks oh that was nervy all right so ideally this should be a relatively easy Par Four it's 550 feet and it is see where that guy's walking if you look to the left in another 150 feet that's where the basket is it doesn't have this water carry and I am wanting to throw something slightly anhyzer to make sure that I don't touch that too much but right where that orange thing is again if we can throw over that on the air and have it Flex back not close enough to the water to go in but we might be able to give ourselves a long look for Eagle hopefully we have enough to rip into something I think we can get 450 off this tee ah not high enough terrible all right I'm gonna try my flippier one and see if I can get a better shot that's so bad get it higher dude that's better not exactly the line but yeah that wouldn't set it down a little bit hopefully get up and down for a birdie but at least not a bogey what a just a bad shot off the T what I think this does go to show though with these Graces is they have that stability but just like any glidie disc that is neutrally stable just like these ones it's going to hold that line for a while before it wants to flex out because it's not overstable it's just stable so like my ride would have flexed out a little bit more this one's just going to hold that line which means it's going to go forever but you need to give it the height to let it work its way back out of it because this just burned into the ground here and my other ones are 100-ish feet farther short skip ahead of it ah this would be a sweet another birdie to get kind of don't even want to run this I kind of want to lay it up but that seems like a little wimpy move to do for a video no sit sit oh gosh can you see me wait you totally can I'm so dumb wind is pushing us this way can't show any of the flight plate oh that scared the crap out of me all right it's kind of hard to say sometimes why something is your favorite disc and I don't even necessarily think this was the best showing of it because it was getting dark I was going crazy and it was pretty windy out and I'm not even saying that the Grace has to be that disc for you but it's really nice to have a long disc that you can rely on and Trust which is why I have so many Graces because even as I'm trying to diversify my bag to have a different company in every single slot in my bag this is the one that I think I would rather keep even over my peers from latitude 64. latitude might be the only exception where I just keep this and the piers while I try to figure out everything else in my bag but there aren't oftentimes discs even as I reviewed so many of them that I'm like this disc is just better than everything else in this class and for everything else that I've tried in this 11 speed negative one two-ish class this is by far the best disc at least for me so if you haven't tried one out I would highly recommend it and uh Jonathan if you're watching this video I love you so let's collab that was weird sorry I'm gonna blame that on the fact that it gets dark at like 2 25 p.m right now I guess I probably shouldn't even say that because in Sweden probably gets darker like 11 A.M you're probably like an hour and a half of light sorry Jonathan my bad okay ah if you want to see a bag in a minute from something that wasn't in my bag but maybe made it into my bag check out my first run Athena review and what I think might actually be better for you that is now in my bag actually uh yeah so see you there love you bye
