welcome back to botanza disc golf today we have the sky god 4 and we're going to do a pov round here at kind of a pitch and puck course the most popular course in colorado just with this disc never thrown it before going to throw it for the first time off the tian one no warm-ups no nothing the sky got 4 was just released yesterday and since i'm just normal person no company sending me discs yet i just had to buy it here at a shop in denver local pro shop and it is simon lizat's new signature series c-line p2 this new plastic feels really good in the hand the rim is a little it's not as deep as my envy is but it's kind of deeper than a warden i feel which i've thrown before i feel like it's gonna be real nice to forehand it's gonna be interesting we're just gonna kind of go off the first tee hopefully shoot a really solid round here and we're gonna be hunting some aces because i feel like that would make simon proud what a six stamp sick name for this guy got four we're gonna play the main par 54 so it's all par threes but they're all i think under 200 feet 300 total feet here it looks like the first one is going to be a forehand here i'm interested to see how this guy flies for me i've heard it's pretty overstable but we're going to go ahead and see how we play it that came out real clean it's like the perfect level of stability it's going to glide out and then kind of fade left yourself seven feet whoa i almost missed that one for one with this guy got four oh so i don't like affiliate deals or anything with this i'm just genuinely interested to see how an amateur arm speed throws this and how it flies for me like 927 radio right now yeah i don't even have anywhere that you can go buy this if you want so probably a local pro shop all right i think i got the sickest stamp for this it looks like the flight numbers are 2 301. i thought i saw that it was 2302 somewhere yeah this is 2 302. interesting but we're going to just put out out kind of flat and see if it'll finish i'm going to kind of aim maybe about 40 feet to the right of that basket and see if it'll finish for me oh just a terrible throw but it's getting up there i just did not throw that well that's that rim honestly might be a little bit deep for my hands i've got small hands oh starting to rain so i didn't bring my log mic today good pot feels a little bit sticky in my hands for putting this is why this is a throwing putter but hey two for two just kind of for reference and how deep this guy is here we could see like me gripping this all the way on like a power grip i can do it but it feels a little bit less comfortable it's like having to sit kind of in this weird spot on my index finger knuckle here normally i'm able to kind of hold this like this i'm not exactly sure what the exact dimensions are on this it's got a little bit of it's not totally flat tiny little puddle in the middle which kind of feels nice i'm interested to continue throwing this on backhand and seeing how i like it because i want to put this in my bag i need an overstable putter definitely want to see how it handles this one i'm going to try to throw dead straight at it so honestly give it a little bit of annie and see how it fights out of it but it's only 181 feet here oh it's pretty stable honestly pretty short throw it's a little deep for my hands honestly i'm gonna have to figure out how to throw this thing yeah i left myself another 30 feet ish nice three for three let's go all right here we go whole four 168 straight ahead i think this is gonna be another four hand hole go in go in oh just over the top that's gliding on a forehand i thought that it was gonna dump right it didn't thought that i might turn over didn't even have an inkling to do that really liking this disc so far oh i wanted that ace since we ran that we're pretty far back with a straddle putt smack the chain all right first part of the day oh five we've got 206 going straight ahead to that basket where those people are standing so only one that's kind of blind off the tee and the line is definitely forcing over a backhand here and letting it turn oh that just gets stable oh my gosh it's glide too all right honestly not the worst i'm throwing this disc at like maybe 25 30 and it is just honestly we hit in the middle of this tree up here would have been long gone so let's go ahead making this putt nice oh that is a glidey putter that's what's blowing me most away this thing is not falling out of the sky at all it's so glidy all right we got 265 going down there so we actually get to throw this a little bit not fully at all but a little bit i really get to see the stability i'm going to try to leave it out flat just to the right of that tree and see if it'll be able to hyzer back oh that came out pretty stable honestly that's pretty short i don't think i threw that flat i think still figuring out that grip situation but i think we left ourselves about 30 feet here nice and a little right we're in the chains that's awesome i think one of the things about this disc that is just awesome is i like to throw over stable stuff so having a disc like this which has that over stability to it that i'm sure i mean it's not going to beat in fast this new plastic feels really nice it's not super gummy it's kind of pliable like it's this is a nice freaking disc and i know that it will be done eventually because i probably will throw it in a lot of trees but having this over stability in a throwable glide putter instead of a zone is like so good for shot shaping we've got a 236 foot hole here straight ahead of us i'm gonna throw it on any line and flex back towards the basket hopefully be able to force it over enough as i have not been giving it enough juice either way just don't hit this tree oh no wow i just threw that into the ground ah wow that's embarrassing real simon range give it like a little nose up floaty bit towards the basket do it there it is we got hole eight 164. just gonna throw a forehand nice and easy hopefully up to the base of the basket oh my gosh what a beautiful flight i mean i am new to this scope i started playing in january i haven't thrown a ton of mold a ton of discs but i'm liking this one a lot and you're seeing why if you have been playing forever and like you're like there's ability to sit through that this is the first one that's done for me so i'm pretty stoked on it left myself about 15 feet here easy part well nine we're saying 172 that ahead of us another kind of ace of ball i mean these are all laser holes but this one in particular drop in not bad just skip right in front of it didn't quite give enough juice for the ace run easy putt seven down on the front nine is not bad hole 10 we got this low ceiling here makes me want to throw a forehand at it 173 so i think that's what we're going to go ahead and do kind of park it kind of want to use it we'll see what i end up doing depending on where it lands oh that's the right height i was giving it a bid just missed my line way to the right that's a circle look first time in a while two lows the first two low putt dang it anthony ah that's not a good way to start out the back nine oh i thought i had my first sign of flashing it was just cotton i don't see any signs like wear and tear on this disc yet i mean a little tiny bit on the bottom but that's every disc all right back to hole 11. get a skip on the hyzer oh crappy skip that's not bad at all right online solid down eight through 11 on the hole 12 straight up the gut so it's honestly gonna have to be pretty hard shot a little flex line or a big hyzer i think i'm going to try to throw it up though because that's more fun get around it somehow ah not the worst bit ever honestly a little bit beyond it nice put nine through 12 pretty good 13. right up there it's actually about 20 feet behind that tree a little force over flex oh no that's so bad anthony all right let's make a big putt having a hard time forcing this one over right now with my grip luckily i have an open look at the basket from about 45 feet got it let's go 414 170 straight ahead of us right down there this can be an h1 hole can i give it the old forehand ace run drop in drop in heck yeah this guy's giving me some putting powers right now i'm telling you what 15 204 that ahead of a simple little backhand hole ah short i just realized i keep releasing this disc almost exclusively on hyzer instead of flat i really think it's a grip thing because i don't normally release anhyzer it normally looks flat or even a little annie so i'm not exactly sure what's going on here except for my putting is freaking on dude this is underwater so it's 157 it's actually going to be closer like 162 we got a tee off behind it yeah just straight ahead of us let's make it happen let's actually release it flat for once get it get it get it get it get it let's go heck yeah dude i got four first okay hole 16. ace let's freaking go i did not even believe it yeah this this gets sick all right down 14 through 16 now what a sick freaking test now it's all my sponsors who are non-existent but uh maybe in the future oh heck yeah okay so i think it's safe to say that this thing's probably for sure going in my freaking bag what oh my gosh okay this one's just gonna be a big forehand pushing forehand i'm gonna make sure i throw it flat or slightly annie a little far i think it's 245 just get it out there try and flex it around that tree and back towards the basket oh i burned it over interesting good to know that if you roll your freaking wrist like a dumb dumb you can still roll this disc over because it's a disc all right big time c2 putt here oh no that's going way left never turned it right ooh this might be i gotta get this par that's 25 feet nice putt okay we got the basket just beyond that tree so it's a big four-hand hyzer i think it's 180 feet 160. no just circle probably just outside honestly i always underestimate distances oh gross 14 down with an ason 16. this disc is so fun it's really good especially if you just need an overstable putter and you maybe can't throw a zone you have a slower arm speed this might be perfect for you it will be pretty stable if you have a faster arm speed or just a little bit above average this you'll be able to shape so many shots with this is a very very solid disc the only thing is it's a little deep for my little tiny hands i'm like five foot six i'm pretty small guy pretty small hands anyways yeah so stoked on this dead definitely if you need a practice basket check out my last video where i review my practice basket which is hopefully gonna help me a lot with this putting but this this might do it itself or check out this video which is my first time playing disc golf in colorado and of course in fruit of colorado which is really pretty i'll see you there i'm about to ace again so i'll show you that honestly no i'm not oh my
