The final day of the 2025 PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championship in Finland was nothing short of thrilling, as a record-breaking championship unfolded with incredible finishes for both the men's and women's divisions. The course, featuring The Beast in Nokia and The Monster in Tampere, provided a challenging and scenic backdrop for the competition.

In the FPO division, Ohn Scoggins made history by becoming the oldest female player to win a World Championship title. In a closely contested playoff with Finnish phenom Iida Lehtomäki, Scoggins emerged victorious after an intense battle on the final hole. The 44-year-old Laotian player demonstrated her skill and experience, ultimately securing a well-deserved win.

Meanwhile, in the MPO division, Gannon Buhr, the world's No. 1 player, dominated the competition to claim his first World Championship title. Buhr's consistent play and clutch performances on the final holes sealed his victory, with an impressive score of -44 through hole 16. The Canadian player showed remarkable composure under pressure, ultimately earning his well-deserved spot at the top of the podium.

In the women's division, Iida Lehtomäki put up a valiant fight in her pursuit of becoming the youngest FPO World Champion in history. Although she was unable to overcome Scoggins in the playoff, Lehtomäki's impressive performance throughout the championship earned her a respectable second-place finish.

The men's division saw an exciting conclusion, with Gannon Buhr ultimately emerging as the champion. However, other players also made their mark on the competition, including Sir Anttila and Ezra Aderhold, who pushed Buhr to his limits before ultimately falling short of the top spot.
