In 2011, we hosted an innovative workshop in the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. The James Nichols-designed disc golf course on campus provided an ideal setting for teachers to practice their skills and challenge themselves. Despite some participants being unfamiliar with the sport, their eagerness and good-natured competitiveness made for a delightful atmosphere.

Dr. Chris "CTP" Tuten, renowned for his exceptional putting skills and mid-range anhyzers, captivated the group with his impressive techniques. Meanwhile, participants bombarded him with questions about throwing basics, rules, and equipment, showcasing their enthusiasm for learning. By educating young people about this exciting sport, we believed that its popularity would continue to grow.
