The city's support is evident in the sheer number of people involved behind the scenes, ensuring that competitors have access to a world-class experience they may never encounter elsewhere.
Beyond the competition itself, Dynamic Discs and the City of Emporia have curated an extensive program of activities designed to entertain and engage the junior competitors and their families. From the Kids Design Discs Contest at the Emporia Arts Center to Mini Disc Golf at the Bourbon Cowboy, there's always something happening under the stars.
Local businesses are also getting in on the action, offering exclusive discounts and packages for Junior Worlds attendees. Even a tour of Emporia State University is on offer, led by none other than former ESU student and current PDGA Open Women's World Champion, Paige Bjerkaas.
