Euro Tour Revival: PDGA Partners with Natural Born Disc Golfer Media for Live Coverage

The COVID-19 pandemic may have disrupted many elite disc golf tournaments in 2020, but it seems that 2021 is shaping up to be a year of revival for the sport. One key event on the calendar is the PDGA Euro Tour, which kicks off on April 30 with the Kokkedal Open in Denmark.

To enhance the viewing experience and raise the profile of European disc golf, the PDGA has announced a new partnership with Natural Born Disc Golfer Media (NBDG). This collaboration will see NBDG providing comprehensive coverage of all Euro Tour events, including next-day shot-by-shot analysis on their YouTube channel. The live coverage will feature professional graphics, English commentary, and cutting-edge post-production features, showcasing the best of European disc golf.

NBDG was founded in 2020 by Juha Kyto, who has a proven track record in covering major disc golf events in Finland. With over 20,000 subscribers and more than two million views on YouTube, NBDG is well-positioned to bring the excitement of Euro Tour events to a wider audience.

PDGA Europe Tour Manager Matěj Verl is thrilled with the partnership, stating that it will help raise the profile of European players, who often struggle for recognition in comparison to their American counterparts. "Many of our top players have not received the recognition they deserve," Verl said. "This partnership will give them a platform to showcase their skills and compete on an equal footing with the best from around the world."

The deal marks a significant step forward for the PDGA Euro Tour, which has been growing in popularity over recent years. With NBDG's expertise and resources, the organization is confident that this season will be one of the most exciting yet.
