Disc Golf Pro Tour Brings Elite Action to Waco, Texas This Weekend

The city of Waco, Texas, is set to host one of the biggest events on the disc golf calendar: the Waco Annual Charity Open presented by Prodigy Disc. As part of the 2020 Disc Golf Pro Tour, this three-round tournament will take place from Thursday, March 12, to Saturday, March 14, at Brazos Park East.

Brazos Park East is a fantastic venue for spectators, with half of the course offering open views and the other half being tightly wooded. While galleries may be limited in the wooded areas, fans can still enjoy watching the world's best disc golfers compete on this challenging layout.

One of the most exciting aspects of this event is the live coverage. The Disc Golf Network (DGN) will provide exclusive live streaming for rounds one and two, while Saturday's final round will be available for free on DGN and simulcast on the DGPT YouTube channel. Fans can also follow along with post-production highlights from multiple teams, including Jomez Productions, GK Pro, and Par Save Productions.

In addition to live coverage, spectators can enjoy instant scoring through UDisc Live, which will provide real-time updates throughout the tournament. The official event page on PDGA.com will also feature up-to-date scores, tee times, and round ratings.

For those who prefer to watch at their own pace, the DGN offers a subscription-based platform with post-produced coverage of select disc golf tournaments, exclusive shows, and touring pro interview series. As a PDGA Member, subscribers can enjoy a 50% discount on their monthly fee, bringing it down to just $4.49.

The Waco Annual Charity Open is shaping up to be one of the most exciting events on the Disc Golf Pro Tour calendar. With top players competing for the coveted title and a prize purse, fans won't want to miss out on the action in Texas this weekend.
