The time has come for PDGA Europe to take a significant step forward, and we're looking for some of the best and brightest minds in European disc golf to join us on this exciting journey. After two years of establishing our association's legal and self-governing continental body for Europe, we've made excellent progress, including registering as a nonprofit in Finland and hiring our first permanent staff members.
However, we're now at a critical point where we need dedicated individuals who share our vision to drive the growth and development of disc golf across Europe. To achieve this, we're holding elections for two positions on the Board of Directors, which will take place online from July 1st to July 31st, 2019.
The successful candidates will be elected by PDGA members in European countries and will serve three-year terms from September 1, 2019 to August 31, 2022. As a member of the Board, you'll have the opportunity to play a leading role in shaping the future of disc golf at the European continental level.
As a Board Member, your key responsibilities will include:
* Setting policies and strategies for PDGA Europe
* Supporting our Administrator and ongoing operations
* Establishing and refining issue-focused Committees, such as the EuroTour Series and Competition standards
* Building relationships with national associations and organizations like the EDGF
* Representing the countries' and membership's visions for disc golf
To be eligible to join the Board, you'll need to hold citizenship or residence status in a European country, be an active PDGA member, and have relevant skills, experience, or training in areas such as management, marketing, finance, or competitive disc golf.

* Fluency in English (or semi-fluency)
